Hello there! I’m Jayme, the woman behind Teacher Turned Mom and I’m so glad you found my blog! I’m a happy wife and a busy stay-at-home Mom with 3 beautiful girls. My oldest daughter will be in high school next year, I have a toddler who is full of life, and the sweetest little baby ever!
Before I became a stay-at-home Mom, I was a former teacher for 11 years. I have taught preschool, first grade, and second grade. When my second child was born, I decided to give up teaching and become a stay-at-home Mom. Although I miss teaching, I love being home with my kids and I know this is where I belong.
I decided to start Teacher Turned Mom as a way to help others and keep my two youngest girls busy. I love to share fun, simple, and education activities for everyday learning that are EASY! Anyone can do these activities with their kids and the kids love them too! They get to have fun independently and most of the time they don’t even know they’re leaning. These activities might even give you a little extra time to make dinner, fold a basket of laundry, do the dishes, or just sit down for a minute.
